Grammer CZ s.r.o. is a part of the business concern GRAMMER AG which specializes in the development and production of components and systems for automobile interiors, as well as the development and production of driver and passenger seats for passenger cars, lorries, buses, trains and construction and agricultural machines.
Being a global player in the automotive industry, GRAMMER AG can be found on four continents, with more than 30 production and distribution places in 18 countries. GRAMMER headquarters in the Czech Republic is situated in Most, production factories can be found in Tachov and Dolní Kralovice. Of all 8,000 employees, about 1,200 can be found in the Czech Republic.
At present, the subsidiary in Tachov produces head rests and armrests for BMW and Audi vehicles, consisting of about 20 parts. Seats for trucks consist of about 800 parts. When creating an R&D Centre in the Czech Republic, the main system used is CATIA V5 connected with the PLM solution ENOVIA SmarTeam. In 2012, a pilot project is planned with the implementation of the new generation of Dassault Systèmes PLM solution based on ENOVIA V6.
