Intellectual property

The protection of intellectual property rights, including both our own and those of our customers and partners, is a key component of TECHNODAT’s Code of Ethics.

License Compliance

Software piracy has a devastating impact on the software industry. It not only destroys jobs but also threatens businesses, as the use of pirated software can lead to security risks, data loss, or incompatibility – all of which can be highly damaging in a production environment.

TECHNODAT actively protects its assets and combats software piracy through its Anti-Piracy and Compliance Program, which aims to prevent piracy incidents and, when necessary, bring unauthorized users into compliance.

Visual Identity

For TECHNODAT, it is essential to ensure consistency across our four divisions: Technodat CAE Systems, Technodat Elektro, Technodat Develop, and Technodat Engineering.
This means that no matter which division is involved, there should always be a cohesive look, feel, and tone associated with our brand.

Our branding guidelines were created to maintain this consistency among the four divisions.

These guidelines must be followed not only by all our employees but also by our suppliers and partners who assist us in creating visual materials.

Software piracy—that is, the unauthorized possession, use, or distribution of software—has serious negative impacts on the software industry.
It not only destroys jobs but also threatens businesses, as using pirated software can lead to security risks, data loss, or incompatibility, which can be highly dangerous in a production environment.

Market research has revealed that some products in the TECHNODAT portfolio have been used without official authorization or outside the conditions of the existing official license (for example, cross-border license use or using demo licenses in a production environment).
Such use is considered a violation of the law, and any illegal user can be held liable under both civil and criminal law.

TECHNODAT actively protects its assets and combats software piracy through its Anti-Piracy and Compliance Program, which aims to prevent piracy incidents and, if necessary, bring unauthorized users into compliance.

We value the reputation of our product portfolio and believe that everyone plays a key role in the fight against piracy.
Any illegal activity also harms legitimate businesses, as illegal competitors gain an unfair advantage by running their operations on pirated licenses.
A fully legitimate and compliant installation base is the only way to ensure security, compatibility, proper access to our support services, and fair competition.

If you become aware of any suspicious activity, please report it to your local Dassault Systèmes contact or send the information to licence(@)technodat.eu.

Please note that all information provided to TECHNODAT will be treated with strict confidentiality, if requested.

Data Collection and Anti-Piracy Measures

As part of its Anti-Piracy and Compliance Program, TECHNODAT collects data related to the unauthorized use of its software or the software of its affiliated companies, including personal data (such as connection logs).
By using the software without authorization, the user acknowledges and agrees that this data may be collected, shared, and used for the purpose of fighting software piracy.

We welcome any feedback on the program and how it can support your future business needs.
